To:  All Atlas Air and Southern Air Pilots

From:  Jeff Carlson, Senior Vice President, Flight Operations

With the conclusion of our arbitration hearing today, we are now closer to completing a new joint collective bargaining agreement (JCBA) contract for our Atlas Air and Southern Air pilots.

Over the past two weeks, the independent arbitrator listened carefully to Company and Union representatives.

In a significant development this week, the Union provided the Company and the arbitrator with the Integrated Seniority List (ISL).  This important step is key to implementing the new contract once it is completed.

At the arbitrator’s request, the Company and the Union will now prepare and submit post-hearing briefs.  The arbitrator, Company and Union leaders have all committed to moving the remaining process forward as quickly as possible so that we can reach agreement on a new JCBA that benefits each of you and positions our Company for continued success.

We are grateful to both negotiating committees and their teams for their commitment and contributions throughout this process.

We appreciate that this lengthy process has required patience.  To each of our pilots and your families:  Thank you for the professionalism and understanding you have demonstrated throughout.

We will continue to bring you updates as this process continues and invite you to email us at Corpcommunications@atlasair.com if you have any questions.
